MAN's current radial turbocharger, introduced in 2004 as the successor of the NR series. More than 10,000 TCR turbochargers had been delivered by 2016.

How it's built
Inside the TCR.
- Radial-flow turbine with CFD-optimised blading, nozzle ring and casings
- Plain bearings on engine oil; no sealing air needed
- Uncooled casings with integrated oil inlet and drain
- Optional variable nozzle ring (VTA)
- Pressure ratio up to 5.4; gas inlet temperature up to 700 °C; containment-proven
